Marco Dávila-Robertson

Bio: Born in Athens and raised with an interest in world affairs and politics, I double majored Political Science and Philosophy at Emory University, and went on to attended law school at the University of Minnesota. My interests include soccer, tennis, savoring international and/or new cuisine, movies and the arts. I am happily married and we are proud parents of two wonderful boys.
Activities: African-American Heritage Club Sponsor, Assistant Coach to the Varsity Men's Soccer team

Sra. Olympia Diaz

Courses: Spanish 4 Honors, Spanish 3 Advanced, Spanish 3 Advanced ISA
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages/Spanish from Virginia Tech. Gifted Certified and AP Spanish certified.
Bio: I was born and mostly raised in Northern Virginia. I lived overseas from ages 1-10, spending most of that time in Brazil but also in Finland and Uruguay. I have lived here in Marietta for 12 years and love this community. I have two daughters that go to Walton and we just added a kitten to our family this summer.
Activities: Assistant coach for the Varsity Girls Gymnastic team, Co-Sponsor for the Spanish Honor Society, and a sponsor for the Chess Club.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and Literature
Bio: I have taught ISA with Dr. Tripp Madden since its inception in the state of Georgia in 2009. My greatest passion is traveling and venturing into new cultures, foods, and languages. I enjoy to spend time with my daughter trying new things.
Activities: ISA-ESOL Tutoring Program Coordinator and Global Connections Club Co-Sponsor

Sra. Bree Goolsby

Courses: 10th grade ISA Honors World Literature
Education: B.A in English from Tulane University, B.S. in English Education from Kennesaw State University
Bio: I was born in Atlanta, GA and am a Walton graduate. I attended Tulane University where I also played volleyball and basketball. I received an excellent foundation in Spanish language from my wonderful teachers here at Walton, and I continued my study of Spanish as well as Latin in college. In 2008, I taught at a small boarding school in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. I love traveling and spending time in the outdoors. I'm passionate about backpacking, camping, and spending time in the mountains, and in 2010, I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail. I live in East Cobb with my dog, Kudzu.

Bio: I have taught ISA with Sra. Marina Garcia since its inception in the state of Georgia in 2009. I enjoy spending time with my wife trying new dining venues and I enjoy trying new outdoor activities with my boys.

Education: B.A. in English; B.S. in Secondary Education; and M.Ed in Adolescent Education/English
Bio: I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama, but grew up in Marietta. I have been married to my wife, Laura, for 28 years, and we have two children. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing the guitar, and spending time with my family and pets. In addition to being an English teacher, I have coached freshmen football and girls' lacrosse.

Bio: As a Walton alumni, I fell in love with the language and culture in my Spanish classes here at Walton. My passion for Spanish has taken me to study in Spain and Mexico, as well as to live in Santiago, Chile for several years. I love reading and spending time with my husband and two sons, going on nature walks, bike rides, and making meals together.
Activities: Spanish Club co-sponsor & Dance Club sponsor.

Bio: I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and moved to Marietta in 1998. I have been teaching since 1995, and enjoy movies, reading, traveling, and spending time with my husband, son, and daughter. I like to spend part of the summer in Puerto Rico visiting my family.
